Shannon Stanley started performing on stage at the tender age of 4. Focusing on classical ballet, she received training at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Virginia Ballet Theater, Governor’s School for the Arts and Miami City Ballet. At 14, she was accepted into the apprentice program with the company at Virginia Ballet Theater and shortly after joined as a company member. Simultaneously performing with Governor’s School for the Arts, over this period of time she performed in many ballets such as Paquita, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, and the lead role in Balanchine’s Valse Fantasie.

Performing is her most powerful form of expression and hopes to continue to travel the globe sharing her movement with all audiences.

Shannon has performed original pieces for many private and public events, such as The Alzheimer’s Association, Emory ALS Center, and Voila Foundation. In addition to private parties, birthdays and weddings, she has created and performed original pieces for The Atlanta Aerial Arts Festival and local showcases such as Open Grip and Sky Jam.
